Code of Ethics – INTEC Joint Stock Company
INTEC Joint Stock Company has been operating continuously for over 30 years, mainly in the energy market. We design and execute installations in various industries, build energy facilities on a “turnkey” basis, and supply fittings for power plants, combined heat and power plants, and other industrial facilities. A few years ago, we expanded our offer to include hydrogen technologies – installation and commissioning of various types of electrolyzers, hydrogen transmission preparation systems, methanation, and reduction stations.
The scope of our operations means that in our daily work, as well as in the facilities, devices, and installations we design and execute, we want, should, and must follow specific principles and values. These are:
- Responsibility for the safety of facilities, employees, partners, and the environment;
- Compliance with the law, transparency, and good engineering practices;
- The principle of sustainable development for the natural environment;
- High quality of services provided and products delivered;
- Competence, which for us means continuous search for new, improved solutions, upgrading qualifications, and expanding the knowledge of our employees to perform tasks effectively, ensuring that the services and products we offer are of the highest standard;
- Partnership and credibility, based on mutual trust in relationships with our employees, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders;
- Fair competition: we do not enter into agreements whose purpose or effect may be to violate competition in the markets where we operate;
- A friendly workplace, where employees feel comfortable and relations between management and staff are built on mutual respect and trust.
What is particularly important to us: respect for every individual, equal treatment without excluding anyone, and preventing unethical behavior such as mobbing or discrimination.
We respect human rights, guaranteeing their inviolability. We employ workers legally, respecting labor rights, and we do not employ minors.
We actively take measures to prevent situations that could lead to conflicts of interest or corruption risks. Every situation (including potential ones) involving a conflict of interest should be reported by an employee or subcontractor to their supervisor, the Compliance Officer, or directly to the Management Board to prevent the conflict or find the best solutions. The existing “INTEC S.A. Internal Reporting Procedure” may also be used for this purpose.
We do not accept gifts, presents, or financial benefits in exchange for actions favoring the giver or the person/entity on whose behalf such a gift or benefit is to be given. We do not give gifts, presents, or financial benefits to our contractors to avoid influencing decision-making. The only exception is small promotional gifts permitted by law.
We comply with all applicable competition protection regulations. We do not engage in improper practices that may restrict competition or aim to gain unfair advantages. We expect the same from our business partners, management, and employees – relationships must be based on trust, transparency, and mutual responsibility.
